Volunteering
Thank you for your interest in joining us at Nomads! Please complete the form HERE to help us understand your experience and areas of interest.
Application Deadline: 10 January 2026.
Selected volunteers will be notified of further steps via email or phone after the application phase closes. If you haven’t been selected, you won’t hear from us.
Important:
- Applying does not guarantee a position. Selections are based on available roles and skill compatibility.
- For those interested in joining as a photographer, please apply by 10 January HERE. (Photography team is not required to pay the deposit)
Deposit Requirement
To confirm your place, successful applicants will be required to make a fully refundable deposit of INR 18,000 (students and exceptional cases may be exempt based on the discussion of the same in their interview). The deposit ensures that volunteers fulfil their responsibilities on-site. The deposit will be refunded shortly after the festival, provided you have satisfactorily attended all your assigned shifts, been punctual and maintained the safety and inclusivity standards of the festival.
Refund Process:
- The deposit will be refunded to the bank details provided or the UPI ID/card used for payment. Depending on your bank’s processes, it can take up to 10 working days from the refund being issued to it showing in your account. For volunteers with an international bank account, the process may differ.
- If you change banks or cards in the interim, please notify us in advance to arrange alternative refund methods.
Opportunities for Dedicated Volunteers
For our upcoming edition of Magnetic Fields Festival, all volunteers who will dutifully complete their participation will be given a digital certificate of completion signed by one of the festival founders. Volunteers who exhibit dedication and satisfactorily perform their duties for three consecutive years will be considered for paid roles at the festival.
Well-Being Commitment
Your well-being during your volunteering experience is important to us and we are committed to ensuring you have a positive and safe experience. If you are unable to turn up for your shifts for whatever reason, please do come and speak to us. We are there to help and can often rearrange your shifts for you so that you do not risk losing your deposit. In return, we expect you to come with a genuine interest to volunteer and to maintain a sincere, efficient and safe work environment for your fellow team members.
As volunteers, you will have full access to the facilities provided to our attendees including seeking help from our mental well-being partners TATVA. Please apprise yourself of our well-being guides and substance policy to support your health, safety, and enjoyment throughout the festival.
