MAGNETIC FIELDS NOMADS

pause.dxa is an experimental sound and music experience project by Sahitya and Harsh based in Auroville, India.
Their work is inspired by the perspective of merging traditional sound practices and modern approaches. Going back to respective roots, pause.dxa bring together Dhrupad vocal improvisation (alaap) along with electronically synthesised soundscapes with drones, modular synthesis, field recordings and more.
With a background in music and sound research, Sahitya and Harsh have collaborated with cultural institutions, independent artists, and filmmakers to develop performances, workshops, and soundscapes focused on deep listening and the impact of sound and music. Their performances range from live improvisations to conceptual pieces, always emphasising sound and music as a listening experience.
