Raised on rock, trip hop and trance, Bangalore-based Tonkatsukitty started digging deep as a teen, spending more time exploring global dance music than on her homework. She was soon introduced to a young, evolving club scene in Vietnam, where she found home in those dark dancefloors.

She finally jumped the fence from dancer to DJ, determined to spark the same musical magic that captivated her. Described as dreamy, ethereal and even emotional, her sound spans house, breaks, minimal techno and even ambient. Although she resists labels, her sets lean towards being deep, dubby and minimal but always evoking tucked-away moods and feelings.
